The Republican double talk has been fooling the very people their way of thinking hurts. Basically what they are very good at is changing the language. They create new definitions by twisting anything they want to do into a personal plus.
The latest example of this comes out of the obviously large spending that has happened this year. “We are passing the debt on to our kids”. Now that would be a noble statement if they also weren’t for “Lower taxes so the American public can decide how to spend it”. Can you tell me how you pay off the debt incurred buy the wars we are still in if you bring in less money? Wouldn’t that be passing the debt on to our children

I am also amazed at their “Right to life” comments while they are for the death penalty, no gun control,and of course those lower taxes will definitely hire more police. Let’s not forget their passion for the poor objecting to any welfare spending like food stamps and health care. I was also thinking we should legalize bombs because “It isn’t bombs that kill people. People kill people”.

The one I really love is we are for small business because that is what made America great. That really goes along with  their push for trade with Columbia stance. Let’s add another country who doesn’t pay their

workers to our preferred nation status (don’t we send them enough money by buying their largest export Drugs?). Lets deregulate so larger companies get away with both figuratively and literally murder. This will help our small businesses stay in business because those larger companies will regulate themselves and not cheat to steal the small businesses customers. These large companies are such angels that they wouldn’t even do anything that might jeopardize the whole worlds economy not only sinking small business but taking its real estate too (including the owners house). Just an observation-Don’t more corporate mergers occur during Republican administrations “increasing competition”?

“They want to make us like Europe”. How dare they when we are trying to make us like South Africa pre apartheid” .

“We are a Christian country from the beginning and the Democrats are trying to make us atheists.  Christ fed the poor with fish and wine, but we are against welfare. Christ healed the sick for free but we are against a one payer system, and Christ said “give unto Caesar that which is Caesar’s and give unto God that which is Gods”.  I have to get a copy of the Catholic Bible I couldn’t find give unto Exxon or Walmart anywhere in my copy. I did find Christ going into the leper colonies to help. Maybe that was a misprint.  Many believe that their bodies are Temples and health care is a moral issue. Christ tossed the money changers out of the Temple, don’t moral issues come from the heart?

“The only government program that works is the military”. If you think they really believe that then why are there 1.43 to 1 civilians in Iraq and almost an even split in Afghanistan. It wasn’t good enough to pay a zillion dollars for a toilet seat. Now we don’t pay our forces until they quit and join a private company?

It isn’t that I don’t believe that the Democrats  don’t redefine their positions. They do, but they are just not as outrageous and in their actions are really doing what the Republicans say they are for.
