Webster defines Religion as:

a : the state of a religious <a nun in her 20th year of religion> b (1) : the service and worship of God or the supernatural (2) : commitment or devotion to religious faith or observance

2

: a personal set or institutionalized system of religious attitudes, beliefs, and practices

3

archaic : scrupulous conformity : conscientiousness

4

: a cause, principle, or system of beliefs held to with ardor and faith

The Bill of Rights or more commonly known as the first amendment:

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

I started with these so there can be no argument to either definition or law. personal set or institutionalized system of attitudes, beliefs and practices. Establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof. These are the points and if religious institution were made to physically make available contraceptives to all its members it would be in violation of the constitution. This however is a law which doesn’t require that these institutions do anything unless it wants government money. Then as an entity which wishes that money it must determine if taking that money under the rules established for all it must determine if the requirements interfere with beliefs and therefor not take the money.

If the members are true to their religion there should be no problem. However if these Churches wish to become businesses instead of Religion they should not be allowed to hide behind their religion for the simple fact that there is another religion involved which also can’t have it’s rights stepped on.

Please read the constitution. nowhere in the document is God mentioned. The idea of freedom of religion is not to have government choose your beliefs however it is also there so that religion cannot control your government. Nothing is absolute so the distinction should be that in your head or in youir Church or in some cases in your bedroom your religion rules. In your place of commerce aka a hospital things like the health care law prevale.

I have said this before but it bares repeating Quit standing in congress and telling me that your religion is the religion of the country and we need to have our laws follow it. If you can’t convince your flock to stay with your rules your religion is obsolete or soon will be. In most cases your religion and mine will keep us from meeting in the afterlife( even if you don’t believe in one).

Finally I must say to the born again Christain group. There is nothing wrong with a “cult Chrisianity”. If you would quit lieing and read some history this country was founded by a “Cult Christianity” called the masons. I guess they were wrong because they believed only Christ will be born again.

I see where John Boehner is back on the its our way or shut the country down road. It has been common knowledge that some of the new Tea Party group were not going to vote to increase the debt limit. You have argued for the raising of the debt limit in the past so we know you can get the between 78 and 100 of your own party votes you will need to get it done. You and your party are in a no win spot. If you don’t raise the debt limit your actions will increase the deficit by accelerating the time our interest rates will go up. If you raise it many of you will not get through your own primary.

Please keep up your rhetoric about Medicare and Medicaid going. Your party has really missed the reason the country sent you to power this time. I will explain it to you The country wants jobs. It felt that the Democrats weren’t doing the things they promised during the election, like removing the tax benefits for companies sending jobs overseas. They felt that they tried to push their extreme agenda while they were in control. Your group has created the fear about the deficit even if China who just by its size will pass us eventually.

Every argument the Republicans give starts out with the people sent us here to take care of the most important thing to them, Jobs! Could you explain to me where the jobs are in all the anti abortion actions. All I can see is eventually this road will only lead to more people to be unemployed.

I love this one “We don’t have a revenue problem, we have a spending problem.” We can’t afford food medicine or education. We can however afford an extra engine for the b30,oil subsidies, tax deductions for private jets. If we give these things up how many jobs would be lost? Lets go back to Reagan era taxes and fix this mess. We could also reinstate the draft and fire the outside contractors doing the jobs our servicemen and women did for a couple of hundred years.

Eric Cantor did you do as bad when you were on the debating team. Did you make something up and then keep repeating it hoping someone would believe it? The average family not only controls their spending( what is the credit card debt in America, what protion of the collapse was caused by continual remortgaging, In many households the wife is working to increase revenues, your party allowed the housing to get out of control because it made it look like the economy was ok even though no job growth was a tell it wasn’t. You want to stop kicking the can down the road and put it back in the same sewer it just escaped.

While were sitting around the table. (If you live in a 1950′s setting TV sitcom) When we bought our house and we borrowed the money what was the amount of every dollar spent that was borrowed?

I awake most mornings to watch c-span. I have an open mind as long as you agree with me. If you have read any of my prior posts you already know Fox News is not my favorite place to find any sanity. It has finally passed the credibility of the floor speeches in the house. Last year the Republicans screamed that they had no input into the bills that were passed. We who watched know that this was false. In committee they did get to input and like they are doing now it was their way or the highway. Having no power they not only lost while the Democrats worked like an eger beaver and passed a multitude of laws that helped both Republicans and Democrats . Now we get to the don’t waste my time part. This group is also moving at a fair clip their cry is “Reduce the deficit” but their actions are everything else. This congress is telling the public that all the secondary things that if they had run on them wouldn’t have gotten them elected are most important. If they think a bill might get get through the Senate they fill it with amendments that will surely stop it. They will tell you they are the good guys because the other side can stand on the house floor and complain knowing even if a couple of their members vote against it they will still win. Here is the best part they are working on this year’s budget. When we get to October we won’t have had time to change anything for next year. Then we can complain how bad the deficit is again. This next video may not be your exact subject but in the long run it sounds like all of you. After you listen stop wasting my time or like the teachers you are attacking vote yourselves a paycut and an extra penalty for doing nothing with my money that pays you. You may want to turn the volume down
If you want to be reelected come to the floor with a true plan. Lets start with real tax reform. The republicans real problem isn’t the Tea Party. Sarah and Michell will take care of them. They will keep opening their mouths ,tweeting and ghost written face book pages and prove to the sane voters that a good mother and a beauty queen looser have good qualities but really can’t lead a country. Their group will vote republican. Michale Moore’s followers will vote Democratic. Ratchel Maddow’s watchers will vote Democratic even if the gay bars don’t open until after the polls close. Glen Beck’s watchers will vote Republican if they dare leave their homes with all of those dangerous people out their or they didn’t run out of depression pills. That leaves forty percent of us for them to get out to vote. The Democrats think were all poor the Republicans think we can be bought.

Paul Hardcastle don’t waste my time featuring Carol Kenyon

It would make things easier if all of us were thinking the same way. Of course you know we don’t so in only a few months you will be out to get our votes. Both sides will will follow the advice of this next video even if you don’t mean it. Now we know the problem and a we know you are not the answer. So keep on what your doing and either we’ll fail or our forty percent will figure it out

We have finally learned what Mrs. Palin really wants. We knew it all along, or should have. From her early days as a beauty contest participant Sarah was interested in attention and entertainment. She got into politics because it was where she could entertain and get paid for it. She knew that while not the beauty of a movie star or a contest winner,as a politician she was extremely stunning. After a short stint as a governor luck came her way. The party needing a vice scapegoat(someone to loose an election without hurting a possible future winner) came calling. What a break, to share national attention with a Jackie Gleason sized partner, getting to do a humorous interview with Kitty, having a real entertainer do you better than you could.Being able to finally use all those cheer leading practice sessions for something. Sarah knew she wasn’t vice presidential material, I wonder who she voted for, but saw all that money being spent on a futile election for someone without enough knowledge and someone who changed his values every six years. I’ll write a book say some more outrageous things and get a few spots on Fox. Facebook allows me to control my friends and look like everyone agrees with me. TLC wants me to shoot some wildlife and if I go around the country campaigning for other I can get paid and if I am lucky a few will be elected so I can do it again in a year or so. Tucson almost ruined my image but I came out being mad at false accusations , even if they were true. That didn’t quite do it so on an appearance for Hannity she said she was just like him and Limbaugh beck and the rest. People will understand and if not she can always go back to being a politician.

I not sure how Rep Foxx gets away with her poor little old granny act while wearing suits obviously not bought at Ross, Marshalls or the second hand store.

I called my Representative and Toomy to inquire where I could get an atom bomb, rocket launcher or some napalm. I told him that I may want to protect myself from governmental tyranny like my second amendment rights afforded me. He said there were limits to those rights hmmmm Then why didn’t we keep the assault weapons ban?

Now that we are in full Republican congressional agenda. Kill time till the next election blame the lack of anything worthwhile being accomplished on the Democrats . We picked on their positive in the last two years by lying and now we will spend two years being unable to repeal it so we can run on the same subject next time. Then when we get the power we won’t repeal it because too many people will be using it. So we will look magnanimous and try and fix some of the things we know are wrong right now. We are so good. Please don’t tell people that the basis of insurance is a socialistic one to help payoff the greedy capitalists. Please don’t tell them that none of these half way programs work. After all look at Freddy and Fanny that we kept complaining weren’t making profits but we kept paying our appointees great bonuses. After all look how poorly the government runs things like the post office and Amtrack. Brown does these things and makes money? Of course they deliver the mail door to door six days a week. They have as many free pickup points as the post office and all their services cost less. They can charge more without congress agreeing to it when the cost of fuel goes up. If the profit making companies were not allowed to compete would the government service cost less? Penn Central is not out of business it is a real estate firm. There was more money in selling the land than running the trains. The government had given the land to the train companies but to provide labor, maintain the rails and equipment had costs but selling the land was minimal overhead. These companies just couldn’t compete and were definitely more efficient? During the debate for repeal the DMV was mentioned which isn’t a federal department. We already know that social security and medicare are well liked federally run programs. the last time I looked the Army, Navy Marines,Air Force,Coast Guard,SEC, FDA,FICA,FAA and many other fairly well run departments were government run. I’m sure there are many crooks out there and phony health care products that hate how these governmental departments are run. The Government saved how many jobs buy running GM not to mention the profit the government received. The Government take over of the insurance companies and banks was such a loosing proposition that it prevented total collapse not to mention the profit the government received. Government has been successful in running those institutions that should be socialistic and not interfered with by capitalists. The capitalists want these programs because they are very profitable and low cost until they ruin the basis from which they are formed. They don’t want to produce anything, they don’t want to hire labor. Capitalists today only want to create wealth and have power but do not want to supply a true product of value for it. True capitalism is great but this perverse form of it is the worst form of economy possible. We must set the rules or pay the price.
