I was watching Morning Joe today and when they were talking about the resurrection I missed the part about Ronald Regan. The congress had to take time to extend the committee that is handling the year long birthday party (Christ gets one day plus 52 Sundays). We were also told that the tax payers weren’t paying for the group, about thirty five times and it wasn’t costing the taxpayers anything. Not counting anything but wages for representatives 174000/1730 (number of day in a year x 2 to make 1/2 day) x 435 (number of representatives)=43,751 dollars with no opposition?
Would the Republicans agree to work like the rest of us and only get paid by the Federal Government when actually in Washington. The States would pay the rest and could then cut their pay when it was in a financial bind or wanted to give corporations another tax cut?
Since the privileged will soon be the only people who can afford to drive can we start charging them to repair any potholes they report?
Which will Representative Ryan do after his last town hall, change his stance on medicare and tax increases for the rich or quit saying he is listening to the people?
Senator Ensign another moral conservative that isn’t moral need I say more?
Listening to a group of politicians from Iowa one said the states seceding in the civil war era were constitutional even if their reason was immoral. Maybe he wants to go to war so the federal government will rebuild his state?
Here is an idea. The Republicans think Ronald Regan was great he lowered the federal tax maximum rate to 50% over 171550 phased in to this amount in 1985. Why don’t we use his wisdom, and of course realize that inflation has occurred, go back to that rate over 1,000,000. that would do two thing. First it would transfer the wealth back where it was before the upper transfer(Rush things can transfer 2 directions only your listeners don’t understand that). Secondly if an increase of 4% will net 700 billion in 10 years then 15% will give us 26+ trillion. pay off the debt and rehire the cops and teachers. We might even be able to fix a few bridges. I’ll bet the cost of election would go down because there would be less free floating money. I would even give up my argument for no cap on payroll and medicare taxes.
Let’s pass an amendment say that we can never again fight a war off the budget. We can never fight a war where everyone is engaged either through service or rationing and taxes. We will never again rebuild the country we go to war with and there is no such thing a a police action except those joined by the rest of the world( shared responsibility). I think Dwight D Eisenhower warned us of this. George Washington said we should mind our own business.
One place I stand with the Tea Party. We should reevaluate our foreign aid. You know like Brazilian Wheat , Exxon Oil, countries like that.
When did barefoot and pregnant turn into stupid ,cold, and hungry?
Maybe help is on the way. Did you see where the Chinese hackers went after their version of google. We could all benefit from that government retribution.
The Republican amendment to the 9/11 Health and Compensation act added to prevent the law from passage is in effect How much money could we save by not running every first responder through the FBI terrorist list. Repeal This !
How stupid do the Republicans really think McCain is? He wouldn’t have challenged the legality of Obama’s birth. Please he would have joined the tea party to get elected. Need proof check his Senate campaign.

After your nice uninspiring State of the Union speech the Republicans continued to act like they were in control of everything. This is your fault. You could use your bully pulpit to stop them now. If you don’t the next two years will be your chance to redecorate the whitehouse for its next owner.
Lets see what they have done already. They have taken a vote to repeal your healthcare bill. they have taken a vote to set the spending limits to a level that will make sure there will be no job creation. Passed a bill to eliminate the election campaign fund. Their senate in Utah wants to make a gun its state symbol.
Issacs wants to be able to disrupt by being able to serve subpoenas anytime he wishes. Mitch McConnell and that palin wannabe from Minnesota (she’s had too much publicity already to repeat her name) have said that the most important jobs of the house and senate was to get you unelected.
You need(!!!) to tell them in front of the whole nation what is what. I am not a politician but I am part of the public, that liked and voted for you, yet I am beginning to question your leadership skills. If I feel this way as a supporter how do those that want to find fault feel? At every turn you have let your party be pushed around because you wouldn’t take a stand. There would be no more outcry if the health bill were single payer than there is now and the bill might have worked and the constitutionality would not be in question. You however gave no help and now we have a plan that needs a plan. You didn’t get insurance out of the profit sector. Insurance by definition is socialistic not capitalistic.
What do I think you should tell them in a stern authoritarian way. Tell them in language they can understand, which is the way you would tell a first grader(in that simple language also), to get to work. The country needs them to come up with viable acceptable ideas to solve those problems we all agree upon. Explain before you knock a dam down the next dam must be built or the valley gets flooded. Before they repeal healthcare they must first have a passable plan to replace it. If they want to set a spending limit then they must first explain how they intend to spend the money. Explain to them now that their pay will be the first thing cut after they shut the country down or they could get rid of that uncertainty (which they say causes less jobs) now and increase the debt limit that they know they have to anyway. Say to them that while they posture and do nothing that even they know won’t come true so that they can do their magic tricks without scrutiny that Fox is an entertainment channel and can say anything and the only consequences are viewership and ratings. That when a representative of the country says and does things it has real affect on people and business.
Here is an example. I wish to tell the House of Representatives that it is time to get to work and quit playing games. Without viable explicit replacements to any already created law I will not be signing any of their repeals. Now that they know that up front I will also be pointing out to the public the fact that everyday they play this game is costing us money that we could be spending on a, according to them, nonproductive government employee that would give someone a job and even at low output would accomplish more than they do.
These folks have no problem accusing you of doing nothing, being an alien, and giving your plans no credit for stopping our economic slide. They have no problem even accusing you for their mistakes. They don’t want compromise anymore this time than in the last two years where it was their way or the highway. If the Democrats were in real conrol the bills would have worked better and our country would be creating jobs faster. You must attack, you must keep showing everytime they say this is wrong without a solution to fix it. Point out their inability to govern. Explain anyone can let their kids out on the street and then complain the cops couldn’t control them while bragging about their great parenting skills.
President Obama I think you see my message. Either become a true leader or let another Democrat who can run next time. I am sure you are a good intelligent person. I am not sorry I voted for you. The country now needs to led out of this crisis not thrown to wolves before it knows what happened to it. Your job has changed and you now need a little exertion to your rhetoric. We need the window of realism you could provide.
At 2:30 today President Obama addressed Organizing America on health care reform. He started out with a little history lesson about previous attempts at health care reform and social security.. He explained that many of the retorts against social security are the same for health care reform. Then he explained the fears of many people including loosing what they have. But as the discussion went on he warned that the status quo would disappear if things stay the same. The cost increases will make Medicare go in the red in just eight years. He said he favors a government option because it will put competition into the market.
The program then turned to question and answers. The first came from the internet The second from twitter and the rest from those in attendance. The most important question
was with all the opposition how will we get this done? The presidents response was that he was trying to get a bipartisan plan but that there would be a point where it may become obvious that can’t happen. He said I promised reform and we will get it even if the other side keeps its not working together stance.
Another good question was how are we going to pay for it? He said part was going to come from a subsidy that is now given to the insurance companies, part is going to come from reduced cost and part is coming from paying for results instead of repetition
An explanation of health care reform was pointed toward the fact that a government plan was only a small part of the reform but the other side wants to focus and defeat so the rest of the changes will go down with it so they won’t be affected therefore continue to give bad service and real health care.
If we can just get back to the obesity rate of the 1980′s we could save as much as a trillion dollars in Medicare. The diabetes, heart disease, and other ailments are caused by this one preventive measure. He explained the difference between the active children to the computer generation along with our diets of fast food compared to fruit snacks of the past.
The president closed by saying the easiest thing to do is nothing because your poll number go up because no one disagrees with you. He said he wasn’t sent there to do that. He was sent there to make America better. The story line the opposition want is failure to produce and he wasn’t giving that to them.
