Each incoming Senator is given a pocket copy (a tradition started by Sen Byrd). They along with everyone else elected to a federal position pledges to uphold the constitution. Even though the ability to read is not a requirement for the job I don’t believe we have any literate dependents at work here. If that is true it must be that they have forgotten the definitions of some words. This should remind them.
