In the piece Chris breaks down those things that the then not a candidate (Governor of the closest to hell conditions state we have) would change. If he only wished to change or eliminate amendments the we could call him an originalist. In his case however he wants to change structure. You have argued for the raising of the debt limit in the past so we know you can get the between 78 and 100 of your own party votes you will need to get it done. You and your party are in a no win spot. If you don&#8217;t raise the debt limit your actions will increase the deficit by accelerating the time our interest rates will go up. If you raise it many of you will not get through your own primary.
