It has been common knowledge that some of the new Tea Party group were not going to vote to increase the debt limit. You have argued for the raising of the debt limit in the past so we know you can get the between 78 and 100 of your own party votes you will need to get it done. You and your party are in a no win spot. If you don&#8217;t raise the debt limit your actions will increase the deficit by accelerating the time our interest rates will go up. If you raise it many of you will not get through your own primary.

The congress had to take time to extend the committee that is handling the year long birthday party (Christ gets one day plus 52 Sundays).  We were also told that the tax payers weren&#8217;t paying for the group, about thirty five times and it wasn&#8217;t costing the taxpayers anything.  Not counting anything but wages for representatives  174000/1730 (number of day in a year x 2 to make 1/2 day) x 435  (number of representatives)=43,751 dollars with no opposition?
