I read an article written by Chris Moody on The Ticket today. It was written about the ideas of  Govenor Perry wrote from his book “Fed Up”. In the piece Chris breaks down those things that the then not a candidate (Governor of the closest to hell conditions state we have) would change. If he only wished to change or eliminate amendments the we could call him an originalist. In his case however he wants to change structure. I was watching Morning Joe today and when they were talking about the resurrection I missed the part about Ronald Regan. The congress had to take time to extend the committee that is handling the year long birthday party (Christ gets one day plus 52 Sundays).  We were also told that the tax payers weren’t paying for the group, about thirty five times and it wasn’t costing the taxpayers anything.  Not counting anything but wages for representatives  174000/1730 (number of day in a year x 2 to make 1/2 day) x 435  (number of representatives)=43,751 dollars with no opposition? Barney Fife and the Preamble, posted with vodpod At the beginning of  this congressional session the constitution was read on the floor of the house of representatives. Each incoming Senator is given a pocket copy (a tradition started by Sen Byrd). They along with everyone else elected to a federal position pledges to uphold the constitution. Even though the ability to read is not a requirement for the job I don’t believe we have any literate dependents  at work here. If that is true it must be that they have forgotten the definitions of some words. This should remind them.
