Many years ago one of my Christmas Present Ideas to go to one of the in mall expensive lingerie stores and buy my wife a set of cotton pajamas. It wasn’t the main present for the year but it was the biggest hit. Cosmetics or Bath Items are not an original Christmas Present Idea. In my house One of the sampler packs for my daughters is an every year present. One year I didn’t get them and heard about it until the next Christmas. The sampler packs are a great extra gift because they start around twenty dollars and include at least one product they would like.. Trying new bath or cosmetic items can be expensive, when getting them as a present is a good chance to try something new. The Baseball season is over now that the Yankees have defeated my Phillies.  So now the nation will turn its attention to football. The  true baseball fan will still be alive . There is always the winter leagues, the Mexican league and all the south American teams that play all winter. There will be negotiations,trades,free agent signings, the draft and for the hard core college and minor league recruitment. With all of the families that are affected by our wars. A patriotic present might be a good idea. Many people have become politically aware not only in national subjects but state and local interests have also become important. Many people fly the Stars and Stripes on designated holidays but many people have other things they are also loyal about. We could fly our State flag or we could show our passion for our religion the same way. I love Christmas shopping. To me it is the best part of Christmas. The only part better is when one of your presents is received with the same excitement you imagined it would bring when you picked it. Shopping for children has a better chance of getting this result, especially if you can’t afford expensive jewelry. Luckily my job has always been getting good Christmas present ideas for kids. Our family is large and multi-generational so my job is safe. I do hate crowds and that interferes with the daydreaming that makes the shopping fun.
